We are looking for a Programmer Analyst Advisory to join our Scotia Globe CCAU Technology team to help us deliver new solutions and maintain existing ones for Scotiabank. This is an exciting opportunity to start with us on a challenging journey working on technology that support the Core Banking function for the bank’s Caribbean reason. As a Programmer Analyst Advisory, you will participate in all aspects of the software delivery life cycle while considering the business implications of the application to the current and future business environment. You will work with our Business clients and IT partners to gather requirements, prepare design document, work on development, testing, support of business requirements. You will not only get the opportunity to grow and learn from current experts in the domain, but also help growing team members to enhance their skills. If you are a software engineer with a strong developer-focused mindset, keen interest in Core Banking Application, and thrive in a fast-moving environment - this is the position for you! What will you do? Collaborate as part of a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Cater to development activities of Scotia Globe CCAU Technology related applications The incumbent will interact with various units including, but not limited to: CCAU Technology Team Caribbean & Canadian Banking Team Core Banking Team Value Steams and Engineering Tower Scotia Digital Technology partners QA departments Vendors Product groups Business lines Management Demonstrate abilities to collaborate effectively with various technology and product partners.
