A local Real Estate Success story company located in Vancouver has a great opportunity for a motivated Accounting Manager to join their Finance Team, the Accounting Manager will assist with the full accounting cycle ensuring application of sound accounting practices. You will be reporting to the VP of Finance Responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and supporting financial information. Responsible for the preparation of the group consolidated financial statements Prepare monthly KPI dashboards for senior management Responsible for the year end review engagements Preparation of working papers Correspondence with external audit inquiries Responsible for the preparation of the quarterly property management reports Responsible to review and prepare annual CAM reconciliations with property management department Prepare daily journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and management reports accurately and in a timely manner Record and maintain fixed asset purchases and applicable depreciation and amortization schedules Record and maintain monthly rental statements Support in compilation of annual and periodic budget information Employee expense report reviewing and processing Responsible for the Tax Compliance, including Annual Corporate Tax Filings and Monthly Sales Tax Filings. Prepare and reconcile monthly Good and Service Tax entries Reconcile all corporate banking transactions Responsible for the monthly cash flow analysis and reporting Perform daily routines and month end procedures. Maintain overall responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Qualifications Post secondary education with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience Professional Accounting Designation Experience in Real Estate Development, Property Accounting, Hospitality industry Advanced knowledge of Excel Strong financial acumen and analytical.
