Your Opportunity Stantec is looking for the newest members of our environmental services team in Fredericton, New Brunswick to specifically support environmental impact backssment and permitting opportunities, and related environmental research and writing. If you are curious, a good communicator, and are interested in working in a fast-paced environment full of opportunities to learn about environmental consulting and work across Atlantic Canada and beyond, then we are looking for you. In this role, you will work as part of our environmental services team in the development and delivery of environmental studies for a variety of resource, infrastructure and development projects in our local community and across the country. You will be part of a team that includes national experts who will mentor you closely as you grow your skills and career while working on a diverse collection ofenvironmental management projects. Your Key Responsibilities Collaborate with and assist project managers and team members including fish, marine, terrestrial, and wildlife biologists, archaeologists, water experts, and engineers Lead and/or assist in the development of environmental management programs such asenvironmental impact backssments, environmental protection plans, and environmental permits Lead and/or support the development of proposals and participate in other businessdevelopment activities Analyze field and technical data, and draft technical reports• Follow established standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines to complete assignments Conduct desktop project-related research (e. g. historic data, regulations, literature reviews) Complete applicable company and client required health & safety training and follow health &safety policies and procedures• Participate in environmental field work such as water sampling, biological field studies, andarchaeology Project management support tasks such as cost estimates, budget tracking and status reports Attend.
