As the Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor / HGV Technician, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring the efficient and effective management of vehicle servicing and repairs. You will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, monitoring their work progress, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, technical expertise in commercial vehicle maintenance, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor / HGV Technician Key Responsibilities - Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. - Oversee the workflow in the workshop, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance work. - Ensure that all repair and servicing work is carried out to the highest standards, in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requirements. - Conduct quality inspections of completed work, addressing any deficiencies or areas for improvement. - Maintain accurate records of job progress, ensuring documentation is completed promptly and accurately. - Monitor and manage stock levels of parts and materials, placing orders as necessary. - Collaborate with the Depot Manager to allocate resources effectively and maximize workshop productivity...
