If so, you might be the ideal candidate for our Band 6 Occupational Therapist role. We are looking for Band 6 Occupational Therapists to join the teams of Surrey and Susinteraction Healthcare NHS Trust, working across different settings (Co E/ rehabilitation/ medical/ neurology/ cardiology). You will be responsible for: Undertaking complex occupational therapy backssments and developing individualised therapy programmes for patients with diverse and often co-morbid conditions. Implementing and evaluating evidence-based interventions, using a range of modalities, such as individual sessions, group work, education, and self-management. Working collaboratively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to identify and achieve patient-centred goals and outcomes. Providing specialist advice, guidance, and training to patients, carers, staff, and external agencies on occupational therapy issues. Supervising and supporting junior staff, students, and assistants, and contributing to their learning and development. Participating in service development, audit, research, and quality improvement activities. To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A degree or diploma in occupational therapy and current HCPC registration. A broad knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice, as well as relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines. A strong commitment to person-centred care, recovery, and social inclusion. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. A high level of professionalism, autonomy, and accountability. A willingness to learn new skills and embrace change.
