The Grounds Care Group is one of the most respected landscaping and grounds care companies in the South East of England. They pride themselves on the proven track record and reputation they have developed over the years when creating and maintaining stunning yet practical landscapes for a range of commercial premises. Working between 25 – 30 hours per week and providing a broad and varied finance focussed support service to the wider business, the successful candidate will join a welcoming, dynamic, high-energy company working as part of a talented, collaborative team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will draw on their experience in a similar Bookkeeping or Sales Ledger focussed finance role to maintain accurate financial records that aid the overall growth of the business. Key Responsibilities Managing sales ledger Customer invoicing & reporting including uploading to Xero Managing factoring portal including uploading invoices & reporting Credit control, dealing with customer queries Creating and issuing internal purchase orders Setting up bank payments and transfers Preparing monthly payroll data for Payroll bureau Assisting Finance Manager and any ad hoc tasks Skills & Experience At least 5 years bookkeeping experience is essential, ideally AAT qualified Must be able to.
