Business Development Manager – Leading Drinks Brand – Newcastle, North East – Up to £34k My client is an Established Drinks Brand who are in the process of conquering the UK Beer market. This client has a fantastic product range, exceptional company values and a thirst for innovation. They are currently on the search for a Business Development Manager with a fantastic network of contacts in and around Newcastle The Business Development Manager will primarily responsible for bringing a network of contacts in order to sell the product, whilst also ensuring new business is brought on and nurtured. The Business Development Manager must have a passion for the Newcastle beer scene. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven and ambitious Business Development Manager with a keen interest in business growth, personal progression and daily challenges. Business Development Manager responsibilities Bringing their existing network to the business is key to success Developing a reactive and proactive sales strategy, monitoring and evaluating relevant KPIs Strong conversion rate on sales and business development Follow up customer care and ongoing client retention, alongside business support Increasing brand exposure through launching of new products and awareness. The ideal Business Development Manager Candidate: Minimum of 2 years in a Business Development Manager position with a proven track record of field sales within on-trade markets. Passion for the drinks industry and continually up to date on news and trends Proven track record in sales, negotiation and able to provide a strong network of Northern contacts. Confident, ambitious and self-motivating to succeed.
