Management Accountant – Hospitality Business Role: Management Accountant Location: London Hybrid - 2 days at home Salary: £55,000 + bonus Think great desserts, delicious treats, and incredible gelato; this is what my client is about They have populated the high streets with several brands and with their growth, they are looking for a dynamic management accountant or finance business partner who is great at analytics and is able to work at pace We are looking for a results-driven and confident management accountant to manage the day-to-day business requirements. Reporting to the Financial Director, the duties of the management Accountant will include analyzing financial data, management reporting and monitoring expenditure, and ensuring accuracy of financial information. The successful financial accountant should have exceptional attention to detail and be personable and resilient, as the role will involve interaction with many stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Review draft management accounts prepared by the outsourcing provider, provide commentary for variances to the Finance Director and review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy. Preparing and maintaining budgets. Quarterly Forecasting and analyzing budgets/forecasts/actuals. Manage the fixed asset registers. Analyze financial trends with weekly/monthly reporting. Creating and managing KPI reports for the company. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including assisting with the year-end audit. Maintain contracts with suppliers, making sure all income is calculated and accounted for accurately/timely. Analyzing the financial performance of franchisees and giving recommendations to the Finance Director. The successful candidate ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified, but seriously pursuing qualification. Good IT skills with advanced Microsoft Office essentials especially Microsoft Excel & Power Point. Additional skills in Power Query/BI/Tableau very advantageous. Negotiation.
