In this 18-month temporary position as the Credit Collections Associate , your primary responsibility will be to collect outstanding accounts receivables, cash applications, and account reconciliations in alignment with established policies and practices, all while upholding a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You will be entrusted with maintaining up-to-date and precise data that complies with Credit Management requirements. Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, your role will necessitate close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Notably, this collaborative effort will extend to serving customers in both Canada and the United States. A day in the life of the Credit Collections Associate includes: Efficiently collecting accounts receivable while maintaining excellent customer service Prompt identification and follow-up on overdue accounts, clear record-keeping, and customer assistance Handle cash applications and reconcile discrepancies. Monitoring accounts receivable, analyzing payment patterns, and ensuring timely settlements Modify customer profiles as needed and maintain customer records Prompt response to internal and external email communications For this role, come equipped with: Post-secondary education in accounting and/or credit management courses Minimum of 2-3 years of general business experience, with a specific focus on accounts receivable and collections Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
