In this role you will be the dedicated support for specified customers, understanding their requirements, placing orders with suppliers, managing delivery and ongoing support. In this role you will be the dedicated support for specified customers, understanding their requirements, placing orders with suppliers, managing delivery and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities for the Internal Account Manager – Electronics based in Berkshire: Managing customer accounts; ensuring order books, stock levels and price lists are accurate. Responding to sales enquiries in a timely manner and pro-actively identifying new business opportunities. Obtaining quotes from preferred suppliers. Ensuring orders are placed orders at the lowest ultimate cost. Daily expediting of purchase orders with suppliers to ensure on time delivery. Assisting with the preparation of BOM's from customer format into workable data. Working in line with processes to ensure continued compliance to our quality management system. Knowledge/Experience for the Internal Account Manager – Electronics: Experience of B2B sales and / or purchasing preferably in electronics manufacturing or distribution. Excellent communication skills. Good IT skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A CIPS qualification is advantageous but not required.
