Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Principal Hardware Design Engineer to join their engineering team to support the development of new board level products using the latest components, to deliver market driving products. The responsibilities for the Principal Hardware Design Engineer job, based in Reading: Lead a team in digital Hardware and Firmware design and development or processor-based products Creation of schematics and PCB layout designs Carry out design reviews including schematic and PCBPrepare and submit technical work for review at lifecycle reviews The ideal Principal Hardware Design Engineer will have experience in some of the following: Strong knowledge in High-Speed digital circuit design Experience with working with PC motherboards architecture e. G. Microprocessors 64bit, PCI Express, 100 Gbit Ethernet, advanced Memory Experience with Intel or ARM Chipsets As the Principal Hardware Design Engineer based in Reading you will lead a team with a high level of responsibility, so you will need to have the ability to work to demanding time scales and be able to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to the projects.
