As the Manager of Program Quality & Compliance you will be accountable for the regulatory oversight of occupational-training program quality and performance at private career colleges: this includes, but is not limited to: • The performance standards provided by regulation; • Alignment with employer, labour-market, and 3rd party regulatory requirements; • Reviews and inspections as provided by the Private Career Colleges Act; • Coordination of effective inspections; regulatory oversight, and related stakeholder engagement. The position is also responsible for managing the reporting by, inspection of, and regulatory compliance of registered language schools as well as supporting the Director of Private Career Colleges in informing, advising, document drafting, report preparation, and assuming delegated responsibilities. The position is based in Halifax and involves regular travel throughout the province.
