Position Overview You lead by example, putting your safety and that of your peers first and demonstrating your technical expertise in collaboration with your crews to drive effective operations. You have an eye for innovation and are always looking for opportunities to improve on process, and you’re passionate about supporting the development of your peers. We need someone like you to join as our Operations Supervisor, Field. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supervising and leading a team of skilled field professionals to meet daily operational demands and support the generation, distribution, transmission and delivery of safe and reliable energy to Fortis BC customers within a designated geographical area and/or facility. In year 1, you will: Become familiar with our processes related to software applications relevant to the role, including Workspace, SAP, Power BI, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Utility Risk Management (URM), Accounts Payable Express, Primavera, and others. Gain a general understanding of the budgeting process and identify areas to improve efficiency. Manage and dispatch work effectively and efficiently.
