Subsidiary: Colas Canada Inc. Mission The Procurement Coordinator will report to the Procurement Manager and assist with all aspects of the subcontract and material procurement. Profile 3+ years procurement coordination on a Major Project construction team • Some field/site-based experience • Contractor-side experience • Post-secondary education in the fields of construction, engineering, legal, quantity surveying, or business administration • Ability to work in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (remote or ration-based schedule is not available) • Experience in P3 / Design-Build-Finance an asset • Subcontract administration experience with JV Contractors preferred • Experience with administration of third-party Design Agreements an asset • Infrastructure and/or Rail design and construction phase experience • Experience using JD Edwards and Aconex an asset Skills, Competencies and Attributes • Contractual literacy • Ability to work and strategize independently • Able to transition comfortably between office and field • Engaged, energetic, organized, and ability to see tasks through to completion on fixed deadlines • Enjoys new challenges, creative thinking and problem solving • High level of verbal and written communication skills • Ability to chair meetings, and facilitate efficient and effective discussions and decision-making • Strong attention to detail while retaining the ability to see the bigger picture • Works well with others on all levels of a project’s organizational structure ABOUT COLAS Colas is a Canadian leader in transportation infrastructure – materials, construction, and maintenance.
