We are currently seeking an experienced Branch Manager, specialized in residential and commercial roofing products for one of our locations in Montréal, Pointe aux Trembles QC. Position objective: The Branch Manager’s primary role is to direct the efficient operation of the Branch; Fulfill the Corporate Missions of providing quality products and high levels of service while continuing to grow the business profitably. Description: Operations – Ensure efficient and profitable store and distribution centre operations. Sales/customer service – Guarantee prompt, efficient customer service and profitable sales growth Personnel – Maintaining adequate staffing to meet company and customers’ needs in the most efficient and economical manner. Financials – Ensure profitability goals are met through sales growth, margins improvement and expense control Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B. A. ) in business or commerce degree from college or university; five to ten years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience/training is a must. Proven leadership and supervisory skills with at least seven years’ experience managing and supervising employees. Ability to read financial statements, calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and DBS Valid driver’s license.
