The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general direction of the Coordinator - Sleep Lab and/or Medical Director, the incumbent is responsible for: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within the Sleep Lab. Conducting and supervising clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic and research polysomnography studies according to established protocol. Training, scheduling and supervising more junior polysomnography staff. Developing policies and procedures and Quality Assurance (QA) guidelines for clinical procedures and acting as an educational resource for both staff and patients in the Sleep Lab. Participates in the day-to-day operations of the lab. Experience 1-3 years’ clinical experience as a Polysomnography Technician is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of one-year experience as a Polysomnography Technician in a Pediatric Sleep Lab. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Bachelor of Science required. Registered Polysomnography Technologist required. Certification/Licensure/Registration Current registration with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
