Purpose of Job: The Director Data Analytics will lead a team of data, reporting, and analytical professionals to drive the information needs for Models, Data & AI Risk Management department and develop a divisional program to improve the use of data assets, automate processes related to data and report generation, and build a judicious roadmap to prioritize future state of next generation tools. Key areas of focus include: • Direct information systems and establish effective communication throughout the department. • Ensure data quality and transparency by identifying, collecting, and standardizing source information systems across the department meets OSFI standards. • Drive the ongoing development of Business Intelligence and ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of the department. • Provide technological and information infrastructure necessary to assist model life cycle data marts, self-serve analytics and reporting in a timely and efficient manner. • Interact closely with cross functional working groups from both business and technical sides to ensure the business information system is consistent with industry best practices/standards. Job Responsibilities: Oversee the design and development of a reporting and insights information system to assist model life cycle activities and decision making. Integrate departmental information to facilitate consolidated and/or comparative data analysis while providing all necessary assist to ensure accurate, clean databases in a timely manner. Achieve judicious information management, manage organization’s data architecture and infrastructure, and improve the value of data assets. Design and implement standard performance tools to consistently monitor the model risk indicators (KPIs) and establish measures of success and plans to achieve targeted outcomes. Contribute.
