Rare Disease Key Account Manager Considering candidates from British Columbia , Alberta, and Saskatchewan PURPOSE Identifies and analyzes business opportunities within assigned geography. Proposes, develops and executes activities aligned to brand, territory and corporate strategies. Develops strategic business relationships with key stakeholders to meet current and long-term business objectives. Effectively collaborates with internal partners. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develops, implements and updates key accounts business plans by using available sales resources, strategies and tactics in order to drive sales results with target audiences and uncover brand opportunities while developing strong partnerships. Identifies opportunities and builds relationships in alignment with longer term strategy; achieves territory sales targets, call activity and frequency. Completes call entry as well as working with key accounts pharmacies, physicians, nurses and other relevant health care providers to achieve sales targets and obtain relevant market and competitive insights. Attends conferences, medical association meetings, symposiums and seminars as required; promotes company products and provides current and updated information to customers and acts as a therapeutic and product information resource by providing on-label product information and approved clinical data in order to increase sales. Provides leadership by sharing best practices, presenting at internal meetings and developing key programs for external partners as required. Demonstrates leadership at regional and National meetings and may be called upon by head office to participate in various regional or National initiatives. Works collaboratively with Marketing, Medical or other NNCI teams to plan and execute approved strategies and tactics. Participates in departmental cross-functional teams as required.
