About Our Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists to join the Department of Health and Wellness as a Program Manager, Longitudinal Family Medicine (LFM), within our Physician Services group. In this position, the Program Manager, LFM, is responsible for the implementation, performance management and oversight of the LFM compensation model. LFM is the newly negotiated compensation model for primary care physicians in the province whereby LFM physicians sign individual contracts for remuneration. It is anticipated that by 2025 the majority of primary care physicians will be funded through LFM. Primary Accountabilities As Program Manager, LFM, your role carries specific accountabilities including management and oversight of issuing individual contracts to physicians, facilitating timely distribution of payments, and ensuring quarterly performance management. This role will integrate closely with the work of the Office of Health Professionals Recruitment (OHPR), Nova Scotia Health (NSH) as well as Doctors. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
