Position Summary Working with the Human Resource and Finance Team, the Payroll and Benefits Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the data accuracy of Mount Carmel Clinic payroll system and full cycle processing of bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees, including routine, ad hoc and year-end reports. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the administration of employee group benefits and pension plans. Qualifications Post-Secondary qualification in Accounting or Business Administration and/or Canadian Payroll Association certification 1-3 years of payroll experience A combination of education and experience may be considered Skills, Expertise, and Experience Experience in the health care sector preferred Experience providing administrative support in a unionized environment required Experience working with Payworks Payroll System Payroll Compliance Practitioner Designation required Proven knowledge of payroll administration, employment legislation, and compliance regulations General accounting knowledge coupled with excellent.
