They are at the forefront of hospitality trends and knowledge, and use these insights to provide businesses with innovative research, media content and marketing plans. They help businesses understand their customers better and therefore grow revenue and their brand. They already work with some of the industry’s leading businesses, the successful business development manager will add to this portfolio and grow accounts. About the business development manager role Manage a sales pipeline within the hospitality sector Be the first point of contact for the business within these organisations and develop a trusted advisor relationship- not to be afraid of steering a client in a different direction if you Identify new contacts & opportunities within our current portfolio through networking, meetings and referrals. Write detailed 'insight-led’ sales proposals with benefits, outputs, costs and timings; make these honest, fairly priced and set up to deliver EXACTLY what the client wants and needs Monitor and analyse client's usage of the business’ product and make sure it is delivering value- if it’s not, find a solution. Understand the business strategy, insight and data needs of your key contacts and clients- and over-deliver where possible. Attend conferences & networking events to increase awareness of the brand.
