My client, a highly established and luxury residential block management firm based in Elstree, are seeking a motivated Junior Service Charge Accountant to join their team in a highly progressive and rewarding environment. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and Block Managers covering a portfolio of 80 residential developments with handling service charge queries and ensuring the smooth running of the department. Full training provided Junior Service Charge Accountant Elstree £25,000 - £28,000 plus excellent benefits and progression My client, a highly established and luxury residential block management firm based in Elstree, are seeking a motivated Junior Service Charge Accountant to join their team in a highly progressive and rewarding environment. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and Block Managers covering a portfolio of 80 residential developments with handling service charge queries and ensuring the smooth running of the department. Full training provided Duties Liaise with accountants and block managers to handle client queries related to service charge and maintain professional working relationships Preparation of end of year service charge reports before submitting to external accountants for reviewal Monitor bank statements for BACS receipts Take service charge payments over the phone Prepare draft budgets for block managers, ensure they are authorised and enter them into QUBE system Respond to supplier queries regarding contract orders and settle invoices Allocate insurance payments Requirements Previous experience within service charge or accounting however full training will be provided Good knowledge of QUBE is desired Good Excel skillinteractioncellent written and verbal communication skills Desire to learn and progresinteractioncellent presentation skills Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, WFH four days per month Benefits: Study support following probation period.35 days holiday INCLUDING bank holidays and.
