A job for a Production Controller, for a client based in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey has come onto the market The Production Controller job, Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, will report into the Production Manager and will be working for a client specialising in a range of electro-mechanical purge system products, used predominately in hazardous environments such as the oil & gas sector. As the Production Controller, Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, you will be responsible for ensuring effective planning and progression of orders from Sales through Production, scheduling sales orders into production through the ERP system and maintaining accurate control of stock through appropriate transactions and processes and directly manage shipping and the Production Stores. You will expedite any issues causing production lateness and attend sales and engineering meetings in order to ensure agreed product lead times are managed and appropriate to the needs of the client and capability of the business. Other responsibilities include: O Scheduling work according to the labour capacity, production capability and procurement lead-times in order to deliver product to agreed delivery dates. O Managing the MRP/ERP production requirements of inputs and outputs into the operations teams to ensure clear plans and instructions are conveyed and are achievable. O Managing the received materials into stores requirements including stock accuracy of part numbers, quantities and locations.
