This role is office-based bar one day at home and would need applicants to drive given its location & parts of the job role. Their ideal is someone who has worked in a similar sector and having ample accounts experience focusing on bookkeeping and double entry and feeling confident doing Pivot tables etc on Excel Key Responsibilities Work with the Finance Director to: Assist in the financial management of the organisation: o Processing income onto the accounts system and CRMo Reconciliation of bank accountso Reconciliation of CRM to accounts systemo Draft financial reports for fundraising budget holderso Assist with budget preparation and reviewo Prepare year end audit schedules for fundraisingo Ensure organisational compliance with HMRC, Charity Commission and Financial regulationsLine manage Income Processing Co-ordinator and Data Processor, ensuring they are motivated and supported to achieve their objectives. Provide cover for Finance Manager - Programmes on critical functionso Payrollo Payments runso Purchase order and credit card provisiono Review office contracts and manage supplier relationshipso Manage IT infrastructure, liaising with the outsourced IT support to ensure effective IT provision and providing support to staff in UK and Affiliates on IT systems. o Co-ordinate office opening and closingo Ensure adequate staffing for key office functions - reception, telephone, general email boxUphold and work to in-house policies and procedures. Conduct yourself in accordance with the rules of the Child and Adult Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct in your personal and professional life - which includes reporting suspicions of child abuse or any other breach of these policies.
