This position is based in Revelstoke, BC. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will provide support and supervise employees to complete daily repairs and preventive maintenance and perform related assigned tasks and duties under limited supervision. Duties / Tasks: • Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of mechanics • Must be able to support our vision in shop excellence and maintain a working environment that meets the Colas requirement. • Responsible for developing safe behavior in safety and health compliance • Supervises and directs employees in performing operations ensuring company guidelines and policies are followed • Conduct site safety inspections, safety meetings, hazard backssment and employee orientations • Monitor estimated equipment repair costs to actual equipment.
