Job Summary Terus Construction Ltd. is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team, providing professional and technical support to the company’s asphalt and crushing equipment. In addition to maintaining and upgrading electrical and electrical components, this position is responsible for reducing or eliminating equipment downtime. This position will be based in the West Kootenays (Nelson/Castlegar area). Job Responsibilities Navigate and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns on asphalt plants, crushers, and equipment. Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and control devices for various electrical devices while ensuring compliance with code. Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and.
