The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general direction of the Architectural & Project Supervisor the incumbent will be responsible for providing continuity and quality control of all Maintenance delivered projects from documenting the project scope with drawings and project scope, allocating of manpower and supplies resources from the appropriate trades sections, infection risk backssment and protection measures, through to the installation and finalization of deficiencies and subsequent utilization by the departmental user. This would involve Maintenance project work performed around staff and patients, as well as Maintenance project work where total ward refurbishment and evacuation takes place. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and providing liaison among all of the following: users, Maintenance staff, Maintenance PM Coordinators, contractors, consultants, Infection Prevention & Control practitioners, Facility Management, Maintenance management personnel and others throughout the planning, installation and commissioning phases of Maintenance projects, while promoting timely completion of same.
