An opportunity for a QC INSPECTOR to join a Global Business, that manufacture highly engineering products for the oil & gas, power generation and aerospace & defence markets. Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a QC INSPECTOR on a Permanent Contract. Our Global Client is backed by extensive years of innovation and extensive research and design to production. RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE OF QC INSPECTOR : Ensuring that components meet the drawing specification and quality standards. Generate and maintain inspections records in accordance with the latest company procedures and client requirements. Carry out detailed inspections on all manufactured items and goods bought in. Carry out detailed visual weld inspections. Conduct dye penetrant inspections according to company inspection and test procedures. Liaise with the Manufacturing Operations Manager regarding quality, welding and issues. Maintain equipment in good condition. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE OF QC INSPECTOR : 5 years’ experience of welding, stelliting and refractory installation. Experience of dye pen required. Ability to read engineering drawings. Quality Management Systems. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office. Experience in the use of lifting equipment, including slinging and use of overhead crane.
