They are looking for a General Manager to oversee their large and modern bakery site located in Warminster. The General Manager will have the overall responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost elements of the business P&L. They will oversee the sales, growth, NPD and production of the business as well as the day-to-day operations including technical compliance and H&S. They will be ultimately responsible for effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organising and decision making to attain desirable profit-making results for the bakery. Generating a culture of meeting customer expectations and the consistent delivery of beautifully baked and decorated product is paramount. Main Responsibilities: Financial/Business Management: Management of the P&L, improving revenue and margin year on year Managing agreed budgets with the Finance Business Partner Meeting agreed KPIs in respect of production targets, wastage and quality. Generating reports and presenting at the monthly management account meetings and at Board meetings as and when required Controlling costs, managing cashflow and liquidity in partnership with the Finance Dept and overseeing supplier and customer relationships.
