We have a large refrigerated display case that showcases the different cuts of meat available. This may include whole chicken, chicken breasts, chicken legs, chicken wings, chicken thighs, mutton chops, mutton legs, and other cuts of chicken and mutton. Job Description Work on the slaughter line with the safe and correct use of knives and other equipment Performing skilled tasks which include slaughter and evisceration of chickens Removal of bone fragments, gristle, surplus fat from finished cuts Using equipment or machinery when required Ensure a safe working environment by ensuring that all standards of the Health and Safety are personally adhered to Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team to set up the line, complete checks and ensure materials are ready to use Completing tasks as efficiently as possible in order to reduce waste and downtime and maximise yields and profits Actively participate in all required company training Adhere to all GMP standards and maintain hygiene standards throughout the working areas Take ownership for personal work and ensure food and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Be mindful of personal and team responsibilities in adhering to Health and Safety guidelines and report any concerns to line management. Work collaboratively with the team to help achieve KPIs. Communicate clearly with employees, peers, senior managers and the board. Experience & skills: Bachelor degree preferable but not mandatory. Leadership skills. Excellent verbal communication skills.
