We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join successful manufacturer based in Dumfries Scottish/English border area A leader in their field, the company is part of an international business and multiple sites throughout the UK. Daily Duties: Managing a Team of 8, multi-skilled Engineers you will be involved in: - The planning and allocation of engineers work including upkeep of the SAP based Maintenance and scheduling system. Supporting and guidance of your team in the identification of maintenance opportunities. Implementation of improvement projects to maximise operational effectiveness and minimise downtime. Motivating, developing and leading your team of engineers creating a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency. Ensuring all Health & Safety guidelines are met and adhered to, also promoting all company values, policies and procedures in all aspects and areas of work. The Candidate The Maintenance Manager will preferably have walk in experience, but a dynamic Team Leader looking for their next step may also be considered. Will possess Mechanical or Electrical level III or higher qualifications. Will have gained their experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably Packaging / FMCG utilsing complex automated machinery Experience in managing multiple projects & identification/implementation of improvement activities through site. Health & Safety implementation. Demonstrable experience of departmental budgeting Experience of running a PPM system Days Role Monday - Friday £45,000 - £50,000 This role may suit candidates with the previous titles of; Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, Maintenance Team Leader, Senior Engineer, Lead Engineer.
