Finance Manager - Warminster Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum Hours: Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm Location: Warminster Contract: Full Time, Permanent Our client is an award-winning business producing and supplying high quality food gifts to well-known and highly prestigious businesses. They are looking for a Finance Manager work closely with the General Manager to deliver end-to-end finance operations. Main Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day workflow of the transactional finance & management accounts. Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and support the Finance Manager in reporting and analysis across the group, identifying trends, risks and opportunities and where necessary provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions. To prepare designated month-end and year-end journal adjustments to agreed deadlines, including accruals and prepayments. To manage the collation, interpretation, of accurate weekly and monthly Management accounts & reports according to time schedules agreed. Day-to-day workflow of the Bakery and management of the monthly management accounts Ensure that all revenue is appropriately and fully recognised, and settlement is collected to terms, escalating issues as necessary. Ensure completeness of income. Review and drive internal controls to ensure financial systems and processes are robust. Ensure that all expenditure has been correctly charged and appropriately authorised. Ensure that payments are made correctly and to terms, while optimising cash flow Introduce or maintain controls to validate expenditure.
