We are recruiting a GIS Analyst for a semi state body where you'll get to contribute to Ireland achieving its vital climate targets. The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following: Prepare high quality appropriate maps to PRAI mapping requirements, mapping for wind farm projects, greenway projects and all other relevant mapping services for the legal team. Liaise with third party legal executives and legal executives within the company to carry out detailed research of historical land records. The successful candidate will prepare and write concise reports and generate title schedules on the GIS database. All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety and welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises. Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's, objectives. The Person: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes: Degree or completed course in GIS or workingtowards same. Proficient in the use of GIS and surveying software 2-3 years' work experience. Experience working in GIS/Engineering/surveying sector an advantage. To have good technical ability, be able to work on one's own initiative as well asworking as a team member, taking instructions, and carrying out taskssuccessfully. Candidate will need to have good attention to detail in supporting the legal mapping lead inmaintaining and updating the GIS mapping database.
