Job Summary The Director, Business Development is responsible for the generation of new business opportunities by securing on-site foodservice/support service contracts. This is supported by the creation of compelling and strategic proposals, presentations and multiple client entry strategies. This is an independent contributor role. Now, if you were to come on board as a Director, Business Development , we’d ask you to do the following for us: Lead generation and prospecting 70% of Focus – sourcing new business opportunities and contracts within the Ontario/Eastern Canada Healthcare market, which includes: Long Term Care and Retirement Relationship Management – multiple level contacts within organizations; manages internal relationships required to ensure that agreements and initiatives are developed fully; understanding the clients criteria, articulating this internally to our Operations teams; lead or develop service solutions and promote the Company's service value proposition to differentiate Compass from competitors and provide increased value to customers Strategic Planning – forming compelling strategies for client contract, relationship management, bidding and winning, assists in long-term strategic planning, opportunity tiering and budgeting Database Management – maintaining accurate records of all client contract and details Pipeline Management – demonstrated.
