Position Overview The Mental Health Support Worker as a member of a multidisciplinary team will assist in carrying out individual service plans under the direction of the Clinical team members on the Mental Health Team. The Mental Health Support Worker is responsible for rehabilitative and supportive functions including skill building/enhancement, creation and maintenance of formal and informal support networks, linking to and maintaining formal and informal support services, provision of appropriate and accurate information and consultation with families as related to skill building/enhancement and development of supports. Experience Two years of related experience with people with mental health issues, or other human service. Experience in life skill teaching and support to individuals who struggle with mental health issues or other disabilities or conditions. Experience in developing, planning and coordinating services. This position has been designated as Bi-Lingual; if no candidates satisfy the Bi-Lingual requirements, candidates meeting all other requirements and qualifications will be considered for the position.
