As a Finance Assistant, you'll report directly to the Group Finance Controller, working closely with the Financial Controller to support day-to-day finance operations. Key Responsibilities: -Finance Assist in managing 11 x management accounts, taking ownership of: Fixed Assets Weekly margin Journals AOE payments Pension uploads and reconciliations Conduct Bank Reconciliations and accurately post receipts with VAT application. Complete VAT returns for review Oversee Purchase Ledger & Contract directory management. Perform data checks & reports to maintain data integrity. Credit Control Ensure efficient management of own ledger, collecting cash within payment terms. Promptly address client queries Distribute Invoices/ statements/ reminders from the system. Lead Bi-Weekly Debt progress meetings and produce relevant reports. Alert Financial Controller about any issues impacting cashflow. Handle Credit Insurer Reporting & Compliance Other Manage Fleet Management 10 vehicles Conduct stock check & re-order office supplies Perform ad-hoc duties as required by line manager/ directors Actively identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives - financial awards available Essential Key Skills Previous experience.
