ROLE: Payroll Operations Consultant LOCATION: Greater London Hybrid CONTRACT: 3 months Ongoing starting January 2024 RATE: £450+ per day UMBRELLA May be flexible for the right candidate: The Role of Payroll Operations Consultant Work through with the payroll team understanding and documenting the process and operation steps that achieve a successful monthly payroll run Understand all aspects of the payroll run from inputting into the system starters/leavers, pay changes deductions etc to posting the transactions for near 5,000 payees to the finance system with the associated sundry reconciliations and cross checks that are done End process is to create a written payroll operations manual as the finished output from the assignment The Person required for Payroll Operations Consultant. Broad understanding of local government payroll and large-scale payroll systems Proven experience in payroll operations, demonstrating expertise in documenting and optimising processes for end users. Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently to maximise productivity.
