Reporting to the Head of Digital Products, Payments and Rewards, this is a key role responsible for setting the strategic direction and accountable for successful execution of the delivery roadmap that is rooted in addressing the needs of our customers and further Scotiabank’s Digital mandate. Is this role right for you? Drive short- and long-term product vision, strategy, goal setting, and execution for the established payment journeys and payments product Accountable to manage ecommerce payments products (e. g. digital wallets, Buy Now Pay Later, @POS experiences) Engage & cultivate relationships with key stakeholders from retail deposits, payments, unsecured lending, Fraud and Enterprise payments Prioritizes, negotiate, and remove obstacles to ensure quality digital product launches Collaborate with the Engineering & Design teams, providing them business context and engaging them to build the right products on time Cultivates an inclusive, diverse, open, trustful, safe and fun working environment for their team where team members are energized and motivated to perform their best , charting growth plans for strong performers in the team Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? 8+ years of experience in a role building customer facing digital products, preferably focused on payments A proven knowledge of retail and Small Business payments ecosystem and strong appreciation for the.
