Position Overview Under the general direction of the Staff Scheduling Coordinator, in consultation with the Unit Managers, Facility Patient Care Manager & On- Call, is responsible for ensuring that adequate staffing levels are maintained for Nursing Units and other units as required. Duties include: Maintaining staffing and payroll processes utilizing ESP. Placing calls to staff as required to cover unmet baseline requirements due to short-term absences are well as workload. Placing calls to staff and offering additional shifts in accordance with applicable Collective Agreements. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy in ESP and in other aspects relating to staffing and alerts Unit Managers/Designate of any staffing discrepancies. Experience One-year previous staff scheduling experience required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required. Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Typing 50 wpm required. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access) required.
