WORK ILLUSTRATION: Reporting to the VP, Customer Care, the Senior Manager, Billing and Accounts Receivable Operations is responsible for the strategy, oversight and technical guidance for accounts receivable operations and related technology systems, processes and activities, including billing, billing data management, remittance and payment processing, retailer relations, and miscellaneous accounts receivable services. The incumbent leads the development of strategies to leverage and continuously improve revenue assurance processes and supporting systems to optimize revenue objectives, compliance, competitiveness, customer value, and service quality. The incumbent is expected to behave ethically and follow the established code of business conduct, policies and internal control procedures, laws and regulations governing Toronto Hydro. Toronto Hydro has implemented a mandatory vaccination requirement for all its employees. Proof of full vaccination will be required upon receiving a conditional offer of employment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops strategic processes and customer solutions to proactively evolve the service offerings to meet changing business direction, customer expectations, legal and regulatory requirements, and financial objectives. Directs the organization’s on-time, accurate delivery of electricity and non-electricity customer accounts receivable processes, including billing, payment processing, retailer relations, and miscellaneous accounts receivable. Oversees long-term planning, continual improvement, and execution of the end-to-end accounts receivable process in customer care in alignment with regulations, laws and taxation requirements to optimize corporate cash flow, working capital and revenue capture to achieve positive corporate accounts receivable.
