We are currently looking for an experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Warrington, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will lead the SLT service and its development in a culturally diverse in-patient setting. Dysphagia - The equivalent of 33 days annual leave plus your birthday off - Free meals and parking - Wellbeing support and activities - Career development and training - Pension contribution - Life Assurance - Enhanced Maternity Package - Flexible working opportunities Your main responsibilities as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist: - Provide a high standard of Speech and Language Therapy SLT backssment and intervention, including other local settings as required such as conducting dysphagia backssments in the absence of another Lead SLT - Contribute to the continued development of a high-quality therapeutic service - Manage a complex clinical caseload ensuring high standards of care that is flexible to the needs of the person using evidence based / person centred principles to backss, plan, implement and evaluate intervention - Provide specialist Dysphagia backssment and intervention to patients, utilising competencies and experience at a specialist practitioner level What we are looking for in a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist: - Degree in Speech & Language Pathology - Current HCPC registration.
