Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Woolwich Temp Vacancy Pay Rate: £20.67ph Full-Time 35 hours Job Purpose: Working across Council departments and partner agencies to collect and coordinate various types of intelligence and performance business intelligence data to support Children’s Services priorities relating to exploitation and contextual safeguarding, in accordance with agreed Information Sharing Protocols, and in compliance with data protection regulations. Oversee and manage effective systems for collection and dissemination of a wide range of related intelligence, information and data. This includes the appropriate backssment and quality assurance of intelligence submitted or received by Children’s Services. Using research and analysis in order to support and give direction to service interventions, presentation to senior decision makers and report on performance. Attending multi agency and operational meetings to present and discuss data, and analysis requirements, or to present evaluated findings, implications and recommendations. Building knowledge and expertise as a resource for services in key areas of contextual safeguarding and utilise this expertise in the production of analytical products. Accountabilities: Build effective working relationships within the Council including missing coordinator and Pre Mace administrator, with the police BCU Intelligence Unit, Community Safety and Safer Spaces and other partner agencies ie MOPAC, VRU concerning the collection, analysis and reporting of data within a multi-agency environment. Work with all Council departments and external partners to improve data collection and its use in the development of direct interventions, strategies, plans, operations and as business planning and management information. To effectively use software packages including databases, geographical information systems and spread sheets for analysis. To oversee the management of Intelligence information.
