Our Barrie Transit team is seeking a full-time Fleet Maintenance Manager. The Fleet Maintenance Manager, through direct involvement with the General Manager and Regional Director of Maintenance is responsible for all day-to-day maintenance aspects of both Conventional Transit and Specialized Transit service in accordance with contract operating standards that is safe and reliable. The Maintenance Manager plans and manages all skilled trade mechanical work including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections and cleaning to ensure safe, clean reliable vehicles, facilities and equipment. Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all day-to-day maintenance aspects of both Conventional Transit and Specialized Transit service in accordance with contract operating standards that is safe and reliable.
