A client within the Public Sector based in Southwark is currently recruiting for a Gas Compliance Officer to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a gas and heating environment. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a gas and heating environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is to support compliance gas and water manager and the wider housing department in gas and water matters. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Inspector will be expected to carry out audits and technical inspections of all types of installations and produce technical reports. Assist in implementing compliance programs. Investigate high level complaints and incidents. The Candidate To be considered for this role you will require to hold a current Gas safe registration or a minimum of Domestic ACS and have your own vehicle. The below skills would be essential for the role: Experience in Legionella control Good IT skills with Microsoft applications The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £23 - £25 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
