Youth Justice Case Manager - Manchester Are you a passionate, dedicated Youth Justice Case Manager looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Youth Justice Case Manager to join a Children’s Services Team based in Manchester. You will be required to offer intervention and support to young people in contact with the criminal justice system and their families. Umbrella Rate: £39 per hour Duration: 08/01/2023 – 3 months initially Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – Hybrid Youth Justice Case Manager role: Full JD Available Deliver services to prevent offending by children and young people Supervise, manage and enforce all statutory orders available to the court requiring Youth Justice intervention Take responsibility for young people with more complex needs or with a higher risk of offending or of serious harm Assess risks and needs, and carry out appropriate interventions to address these and achieve positive outcomes Deliver individual or group interventions Conduct backssments of young people and their families to prepare both oral and written reports for the courts and Referral Order Panels Attend court to provide a service for young offenders, their families, magistrates and other criminal justice personnel, to advise on effective sentencing and assist court business Take responsibility for the management of young people sentenced to custody and to make preparations for their release, involving family and other agencies, including the police, as appropriate Build strong, trusting relationships with young people Provide information, advice and assistance to parents or carers where necessary Transport and escort young offenders and families when required as part of a supervision plan and where public transport is inappropriate Work collaboratively with other agencies Record information including backssments, interventions and contacts on the youth offending database Attend planning meetings Essential Requirements Degree, Dip SW, Diploma.
