As a part of their team, you'll work in a friendly, caring, and exciting environment that values employee well-being and development. Role Overview: As the Head of Finance, you'll report directly to the COO and Board, playing a crucial role in strategic projects, central finance functions, and team development. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate strategic projects, including acquisitions and investment appraisals. Lead monthly management account reviews, annual budgeting, and emphasize effective sales ledger management. Drive finance team development through structured management and talent coaching. Plan and execute detailed projects, including digitization, AI implementation, and multi-year budgeting. Conduct critical cost reviews, cost-benefit analysis, and risk management for development projects. Identify and implement remedial plans for quick risk resolution, particularly in debtor management. Possess a good understanding of contracts. Qualifications/Experience: Qualified Accountant/Appropriate Finance qualification. Experience in a similar role within Waste Management or Construction.
