We currently have over 5,000,000 SF of projects in the planning, design and construction stages. Our world-class designs are typically infused with features like geothermal wells, photovoltaic cells, low carbon materials, and low energy systems that support our Net Zero Carbon goal. Be a part of our amazing team of Project Management professionals building a sustainable future in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area. We are seeking an established, seasoned Project Management leader, with a minimum of 15 years experience delivering ICI capital projects ranging from $10M to over $100M in the Greater Toronto Area. As a leader in the University Planning, Design & Construction (UPDC) department located in the St. George Campus, your primary responsibilities to oversee and lead our largest, most complex projects, will be: Project Management: Establishing, maintaining, and achieving project goals and criteria to satisfy client and budgetary expectations. Advising and communicating regularly and proactively with clients, as needed. Overseeing contracting strategy, procurement, negotiating, and onboarding of consultants and contractors. Holding parties accountable to their contracts. Actively troubleshooting, problem solving, and tracking key performance indicators to ensure there are “no surprises”. Ensuring your PMs are effectively managing contracts and project scope, budget, schedule and risk/issues. Analyzing, strategizing, and negotiating equitable and fair settlements of contractual issues. Fully and accurately informing the UPDC Chief of project issues that could affect UPDC’s project.
