The Role: As a Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the childrens home, managing budgets, developing staff, and overseeing the well-being of young individuals. Responsibilities: Manage, supervise, and mentor staff, organising training and conducting regular supervisions. Implement Ofsted Inspection guidelines and notify significant events promptly. Provide effective leadership to achieve person-centered childcare outcomes. Uphold safeguarding policy and local authority procedures. Work collaboratively with professionals to backss childrens needs and support their potential. Develop staff and young individuals, formulating placement plans and risk backssments. Ensure adherence to the Statement of Purpose and Function of the home. Ensure timely notification of significant events to Local Authority Social Workers. Provide a sensitive residential service that meets individual needs. Organise staff availability and deployment, ensuring regulatory compliance. Maintain the homes fitness for purpose, addressing action points promptly. Requirements: Essential: Previously worked as a Deputy Manager, Registered Manager or in a similar role. Experience in a senior or strategic role within a children's residential care setting. Possess level 3 diploma in Children's Residential Service or equivalent. GCSE qualifications in Maths and English at C Grade or above. Understanding of child protection & safeguarding. Must be 20 years or above. Valid driving licence.
