Leaving Care Specialist Personal Advisor - Bradford Are you a passionate, dedicated Personal Advisor looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Personal Advisor to join a Children’s Services Team based in Bradford. You will be required to support young people who are in care or have recently left care to maximize their life opportunities and reach their full potential. Umbrella Rate: £15.80 to £19.09 per hour Duration: 19/12/2023 – 2 months initially Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, 37 hrs/week Personal Advisor role: Full JD Available Direct and group work with young people Facilitate and monitor the backssment of need Facilitate Pathway Plans based on backssments to address needs Liaise with others involved to ensure that backssed needs of the young people are met Provide practical, personal and emotional support to children, young people Promote their health, physical, emotional development and wellbeing Provide support and advise on health, benefits, education, training, employment, accommodation/housing and personal well-being Identify barriers of learning and help overcome these Develop personal action plans with the young people Review and evaluate progress of young people Advocate on behalf of young people who do not have the skills to do this Work alongside colleagues both within Social Services and from other agencies, and to engage with significant people in the young person's life Transport of the young people where necessary Keep and maintain records and write reports Attend meetings, reviews and court where necessary Essential Requirements Relevant NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent DL, access to a vehicle, business insurance Previous experience working with young people leaving care Experience of housing, employment and training issues for young people Experience of working in a supportive relationship, with young people Understanding of voluntary and statutory agencies and an awareness of opportunities within the.
