Due to an internal promotion, Jefferson Tiley are assisting with the recruitment of an experienced Lead Internal Auditor to act in the role of Internal Audit Manager. My client is a leader in the global financial services market. Due to an internal promotion, Jefferson Tiley are assisting with the recruitment of an experienced Lead Internal Auditor to act in the role of Internal Audit Manager. Responsibilities of the Internal Audit Manager will include: Managing the delivery of a portfolio of internal audits across the UK business. Leading and managing a team of internal audit professionals as they deliver high quality end to end internal audits in line with the business methodology. Support the Head of Internal Audit with team management in setting of short term objectives and timelines for each audit and assignment. This is a busy and critical role within the wider internal audit team as you will be hands on in many different areas. As Internal Audit Manager, you will oversee and coach the more junior members of the team whilst they are working on your audits and you will also manage senior stakeholder relationships as you deliver the audit findings. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential in this role as well as a real desire to add value to the business. The successful candidate will be qualified or equivalent of ACA/ACCA/CIA/CMIIA and have previous experience of insurance essential either within practice or industry. You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced internal auditor who is seeking to make a step up and take on more responsibility.
